Often patients wonder why we recommend adjustments after symptoms (typically pain, but could be many things), are gone. Even the misconception, "once you go to a chiropractor you have to go forever!"

Think of this:

Do "in-shape" people work out? Of course, because they want to stay fit.

Do we brush our teeth if there is no cavity? Of course, because we want to keep our teeth clean.

Do "healthy" people continue to eat "healthy?" Yes because they want to stay that way.

Is it really that abnormal to get adjusted to stay well adjusted? We teach our patients that "no it's not abnormal." In fact, one could stop care whenever they like with us, but the benefits of chiropractic are while you are well adjusted.
